This album was recorded on and off between 2010-2014 at various apartments around Portland, Oregon by Tara Swenson.

For much of my life I have dealt on and off with depression and anxiety. In recent years I've come to realize that most of my loved ones have suffered from these afflictions as well, and last summer lost a friend to suicide.

The holiday season can be an emotionally challenging time for many, especially here in the Pacific Northwest, with our seemingly endless gray skies. For this reason, I chose to release the album on Christmas day. All the online sales through Bandcamp of this EP will be donated to suicide prevention in the Pacific Northwest. To learn more about the organization these funds will be directed to, please visit www.bhr.org.

I want to tell anyone suffering from anxiety, depression, or general feelings of hopelessness that you are not alone.

This record is my attempt to create light around darkness. I hope that you enjoy it.

Track Name: Summer Bummer
All that you have to see
Is what is shining
We'll take your bitter eyes
We'll hang them out to dry

Gray skies conceal sunlight
Broken wings regain flight
Darkness fades with sunrise
Dead earth brings forth new life
Track Name: Out There
Its a little out there to expect you to call
Getting into my mind, you'd think I'd know this time
Well so long
I'm long gone
Well so long
I'm long gone
Track Name: Everybody Has A Broken Heart
Wet fields sunlight
Closed eyes too bright
Tides coming up so high
Its going to wash us all away
I'm sinking down into the bay

Everybody has a broken heart
Wet weeds in the dark
Light from the stars won't show the way
Maybe if the moon is bright
Maybe I'll just close my eyes

Dreaming of the day
We'd run away to a sunnier place

So one day we left, we drove far away
Down the long, long highway
Those days are far away
And now you're far away
Now you're far, far away
