This album was recorded on and off between 2010-2014 at various apartments around Portland, Oregon by Tara Swenson.

For much of my life I have dealt on and off with depression and anxiety. In recent years I've come to realize that most of my loved ones have suffered from these afflictions as well, and last summer lost a friend to suicide.

The holiday season can be an emotionally challenging time for many, especially here in the Pacific Northwest, with our seemingly endless gray skies. For this reason, I chose to release the album on Christmas day. All the online sales through Bandcamp of this EP will be donated to suicide prevention in the Pacific Northwest. I want to tell anyone suffering from anxiety, depression, or general feelings of hopelessness that you are not alone.

This record is my attempt to create light around darkness. I hope that you enjoy it.
